Great shave and haircut and great energizing break. It's amazing how much better you feel when your armpits don't smell like vinegar Dome and face both turned out catfish belly smooth. Just restored, rescaled and honed this razor. I nearly passed it by in the shop as I have never really been a fan of wedges. Well I am so pleased I didn't the shave was superb, effortless silent efficiency. The Kent Infinity formed an excellent partnership with the Tabac stick and the shave was finished off with an alum rub and a splash of Tabac ASL.

Good morning.
Truefitt & Hill have opened a Barbershop here in Singapore, so I took a friend of mine for a men's Sunday morning at the barber's (it was also my mate's first straight shave experience), we've enjoyed a shave as well as a haircut. The set-up was very much T&H, as expected of course and no complains there:
Nr. 10 pre shave skin protector
Sandalwood shaving cream
Regency shaving brush, medium-sized
No-name straight w. disposable blades (blades the size of Feather Pro's and similar, not one of the 'shavettes' with clipped DE blades)
Classic after shave balm
Nice shave with the full monthy of hot and cold towels, 2 passes etc. It was my second visit to the shop. The first time my barber was a Lebanese gentlemen and yesteday, it was their 'Master barber (as he is called), an Irish chap. Both have quite different personalities but are really nice guys. I shall definitely be back.
My (DIY) Shave on this gorgeous Monday:
Musgo Real pre shave oil
Martin de Candre shave soap, unscented
Mühle, 21mm, Silver Tip Fibre
Thiers Issard 'Crown Silverwing', 1/4 hollow, 11/16"
Block Osma alum
Musgo Real Classic after shaveLast edited by Smoothy; 06-24-2013 at 06:28 AM.

Nice shave this morning, only one pass was needed even though I’d not shaved for the last two days. I woke to slightly sore hips from my 8k walk from yesterday, it was very refreshing walking around the country roads in the light rain. Looking forward to indoor bouldering again tomorrow night; I’m going twice a week now as well as doing a ‘heavy’ workout at work on Thursdays consisting of bench presses, pull downs and leg curls. I’m quite active lately, which is good. Hope you’ve all had a good start to the week…

Sunday shave (posted a bit late)
Warm Shower, Warm Oil
Dirty Bird Scuttle
RazoRock Caprician Lemon Shave Soap
Custom Badger Brush
Robert Williams SRP #9
Strop, 100 laps
Razorock Aluminum
Stephan's Island lime AS
Vaseline for men
I enjoyed my Sunday shave. The bloom and softness of this brush are really wonderful. It holds a ton of lather and is very, very soft. The razor was sharp and smooth and removed the whiskers easily. I really enjoyed the hot towels again as I always do. I think the hot towels are an important part f enjoying a Str8 shave.

Yes it could have. I need to remember not to pocket the razor. This is a practice that calls for more than my usual amount of focus. And darn it, I forgot to throw some polish on my boots yesterday... Some days I have all the focus of a chipmunk on red bull.

Thanked: 146Proraso|G5|AOS Badger|Proraso|Economy Supply 44/20|ProrasoAS|Iggy's BalmThe temperature this morning was 78 deg.F. So I continued with the cold water filled scuttle shaves with Proraso. A nice refreshing way to start the morning! Touched up the 44/20 on the 12k and it was flawless this morning. Hope all your shaves go as well.
