Darn good shave though I think I need to tweak the Grelot. From their stillness came their non-action...Doing-nothing was accompanied by the feeling of satisfaction, anxieties and troubles find no place

Hot water prep
Black Beauty 1969 razor - Astra blade - Cyril Salter travel badger brush - MWF - cold water splash - Thayer's witch hazel rose re-splash - Floid asb - hot towel - Acca Kappa muschio bianco AdC
A quick one pass ATG with the DE. The strangest thing. I think the Astra blades aren't wide enough... I had the razor set to "9", which is the highest possible and still, even when really pushing it to my skin, I didn't take off a whole lot of stubble. So, not BBS oddly enough, but still a nice shave. I think I'll try this blade again with the toggle razor someday and if the result is the same, then the Astra blades will not stay...

Celticcrusader: Truly one of the most beautiful razors I have ever seen. Really kind of hypnotic since I can't seem to stop coming back to look at it.....a class all of its own. Thanks for the SOTD, and thanks to all of those who post and give this fine pursuit the respect it deserves.

Wednesday morning:
Jabonman Limited Edition
Thäter 4125/2
Iwasaki Kamisori
Tüff sensitive Aftershave Splash
Pen´s Blenheim Bouquet EdT
In itself a good shave. However, inappropriate for this day. I thought of summer. It should be summer. But it is cloudy, rainy and cold. I should use my fall scents, such as Sandalwood and patchouli.
Have a nice day!>Jean
