Well Jimmy that's something I noticed immediately I haven't given the razor a shave yet but I can't see it being much of a issue I wouldn't fancy using it with a stainless steel handle though, I'm pleased I purchased the Titanium I think it makes a big difference.

Jamie, would be interested to know how this razor compares to the original Cobra (guess the name is not a coincidence!), do you have one of those as well? Mine is great, can't imagine a 'better' safety although the Mongoose finish looks tops....

They are very good looking.
I will only ever SR shave otherwise I'd get one.

Thanked: 38Celtic, you said "I wouldn't fancy using it with a stainless steel handle though". Care to expand on that? I am on the Mongoose waiting list and thought I would prefer the SS handle[s] to the Ti ones. Since you've had yours for a few weeks, I assume you've used it. Can you share something from the experience? Balance ok?
Traskrom, did you order your Mongoose with the anodizing, or have it done after-market. I like the looks of that anodizing...

Mine should be here next week, along with a pack of Feather Pro's, which I'll try but doubt I'll use, and coming from the eBay, a pack of Kai Captain Titan Mild, which is great to be able to use different blades.
I like to use a safety razor once in awhile, but would prefer the larger shaving area and the single edge - from what I've read, much closer to the straight razor experience.
