So, it's gone live on Kickstarter.

With a delivery date of Feb 2020 and the minimum he needs for the project he's gonna need a lot of luck.

So the new toggle has been up for a week now with three more to go. He has 25 backers and needs about another 75.

Do you think he's gonna reach his goal? I don't think so. I think it's simply too expensive for most to consider.

    Just an update.

The campaign has just a few days left and he has 32 pledges. He needs almost 100 so obviously it ain't gonna happen.

He says he has a plan for production of between 30-50 pieces. He will contact the folks who have pledged with details once this campaign ends.

So if you have any interest either pledge now or contact him about the new plan he has once this one ends.

Certainly a feat of engineering that would have appeal to a very niche market. I guess it could get traction after some people swoon over its amazing performance on the many forums. I personally have little interest in heavy DE shavers I found I prefer the light ones because for me its about speed when using a DE or I'm gonna just use my straights. I also think the price target should be something like 300ish and that would fly in sales volume sense. I do enjoy that folks out there are willing to make such things.

    For an update.

The crowd fund was a flop however he has a run of 51 razors with reservations for all of them. You can still put your hat in the ring on a standby basis. He says five months for delivery.

The price is the same-$500. Supposedly these 50 will be a tad different in decoration.

The price tag was quite high. Not saying it wasn't worth it but it was high. I lost interest the moment I saw it. Of course, I am not the target audience for this razor since I'm always looking for affordable razors and this one had the aura of a premium item.

It's really sad tha the campaign flopped. The razor was really beautiful.
