Yea, he didn't sound very optimistic in the latest. I suspect it will be a very long haul if it happens at all and the price will probably take your breath away.

Heck, I'm still waiting for the new Rockwell which is a fatboy clone and it was supposed to be ready around 1.5 years ago.

Wow, i surely do appreciate the thought and workmanship that He is putting into it but I doubt that the original had that much put into it. Maybe just having one as good as the original would be good enough for most?

Just purchased a Ambassador REX from the shaving Emporium. It is a stainless steel adjustable that is without a doubt the best engineered, quality and shave of any adjustable and I've owned and I've owned most of them. The shave is smooth, close and irritation free. Easy to adjust mid shave and holds the blade tight. It is expensive but the razor is well worth it and should last many lifetimes.

I dunno....His sales pitch on the progress is....Not for me.

Fine to be excited, but too much info and not so professional?
    Sorry...

Unlike one blade which is being marketed as a purely luxury product the Janus Razor is being marketed as a well engineered unique item focused towards the shave hobbyist more than the general public.

If he is gonna sell them in any quantity he has to make you feel like you understand the engineering and effort going into it and are part of the journey.

When folks see the price of these things, well.......

Well it sure does look like a whole lot of work goes into engineering those razors!
I hope he is successful with it.
A friend of mine just got into DE razors but won't tough straights razors, I'll have to let him know when these are ready, he may want one if the price is right.

It is a good looking razor. Dont think I'd be ordering one when they are done.
    It's just Sharpening, right?
