I assume you honed these as usual - with the spine and bevel both flat on the hone. If so, the geometry looks wrong and it's as if a honing attachment was required. However, it seems to have worked. I have a 7 day Heljestrand SE razor with hollow ground blades - these come with a honing guide that holds the blade at the right angle and produces the kind of tiny bevel you see on quality straights.
