Regardless of whether you use a DE or a straight, be sure to 'shave around' the wound for awhile. Otherwise, it won't heal, you'll just keep opening it up, it will also make for a more noticeable scar.

As to whether or not 'chicks dig scars' I wouldn't know as I've never asked a woman her opinion on the subject!

Geez, man, I leave you alone for two days and look at what happens.

    Nah... just messin' witcha.

I'd probably amend your list of remedies to include some neosporin as well. That or A&D ointment (which you should have a stock of with that young'un on the way). And as mentioned, SHAVE AROUND IT!

Yeah I've not been stingy with the neo. It's starting to heal pretty well. Cut it with the heel of the blade.

Well, as long as you don't do some fool thing like try to drink the neo, hold it in place with the beer and treat it with the super glue, I think you'll be just fine.

By the way, I may or may not be speaking from personal experience here...

I did 100 passes on it and it's definitely not duller. It's popping hairs.

Sounds like the effects of a good beer to me haha. And there should be a noob straight razor nick gallery. I'd submit one

    What, your ear?
I am guessing you are talking about the guitar strap strop, I prefer repurposing, and if it works why not just keep using it.
