Excellent, I made my strop from a piece of roo hide, it took some sanding to get it smooth but it is really nice, though I don't know how it would compare to a shop bought one.I don't use any Linen or anything either, just the leather, I have tried some materials, a rough and a smooth cotton webbing, the smooth was quite nice, but as it is the shoulder strap from one of my bags it isnt terribly practical to use, so I dont.

Third shave complete and I'm stoked. Finished an all over WTG pass and an all over ATG pass, my first ATG pass it went pretty well a couple small nicks and I had to work around my big cut but not to shabby. I did razor burn my neck but I was trying to finish the pass without putting more soap on

    Hey
Besides the cut, everything looks good. Keep on shaving.

    Good for you!

I get some sensitive areas on the neck from time to time. No visible bumps or anything, but can certainly tell my angle was a bit off. ATG takes practice, and the neck ATG is the most difficult IMO.

I would suggest not skipping on the lather!!!!

I definitely got bumps and burn but I learned my lesson with the soap and taking time to do it right. Still I'm happy with my first ATG shave.
