It's easier to learn to use both right away than to learn with your dominant and try to add the non-dominant later.

Strange women lying in ponds distributing swords is no basis for a system of government.

Using both hands can be quite useful, though of course you can shave with just one. If you decide you want to be a 2-handed shaver start practicing sooner rather than later before you set up one-handed habits that are tough to break down the track.

That's a great idea, if I can practice on someone elses face.

    I only use one hand.

I use one hand as well. I did try using both hands, but I just wasn't comfortable with my less-dominant hand weilding a naked blade.

I use two, but not symmetrically across my face.

Give it an honest shot and if it works great, if not then it wasn't meant to be. There are many prominent members that are one handed shavers.

I use both hands. I admit that using my non dominant hand was a little scary but confidence in its use came quite quick.

I'll add another vote for learning with both hands. I started out this way and found that it wasn't too difficult. I think it's easier when both sides feel unfamiliar learning the new skill altogether, rather than getting natural with 1 and the other feeling awkward.

Both. You'll be surprised once you get used to it. Even when I was first learning (and I still am) I was actually getting a better shave with my normally useless left hand (my off hand)

I think it was because I hand less strength, hence less learned pressure with my left hand.
