    Nice sum-up, the only thing I disagree with is the badger brush. Boar is my weapon of choice, but each to their own.

    Fine by me. Don't know that I've tried boar. The Pure Badger I recently mounted is a bit weak in spine (could be a function of 19mm size) but also a bit prickly, like a wool shirt worn with nothing under. It makes a fine lather once I get it loaded.
