Thread: Commando Apology

Dear Rich

I have had a guilty feeling the whole day, and feel I must report myself before it eats me up inside.

This morning, after stepping out of the shower, I dried myself as usual and applied lather, then started stropping my razor. During the changeover from Linen to Leather I noticed my bathrobe, and donned it.

I did not realise the consequences of my actions until half way through the shave, and by then I was too warm and snuggly to take it off again.

In my defence, it had rained all night, and the temperature had dropped, but we still had windows open all over the flat, and so it was a little chilly in the bathroom.

I realise that this puts my position in your commandos at risk, and the much awaited promotion will evaporate before my eyes, but I feel that honesty is the best policy in such dire circumstances.

We'll wait for the commander to comment. It might be a minor infraction that you can be forgiven for, but he has the final say. I'll wait until then to sound Taps.

It is the commander's place to make judgement on these infractions, but in my opinion you might lose rank, but won't be dishonerably discharged for this infraction, unless, you happened to be using a mach3 at the time.

This is very true.. As long as you still had a str8 in your hand you will only need to do 10 pushups with no loss of rank or status..
