It's her parents' house. I am their permanent house guest. Don't worry, I have the counter pretty well full of bowls and razors. I can always show her Don's Den if she thinks it's too much. Either way, when she's home, donning a robe and opening the door generally makes her stand there and stare at me with those deep, dark, gorgeous eyes, and leads to some nice kissing afterwards.

I'll take the kissing when I can get it (which isn't as often as I'd like). Once we're married and living in my house (I move in there in August), then I can shave commando with the door open.

I wish I had that luxury. Without my glasses, I can't even tell you who's hanging on the crucifix around my neck.

BTW-do the following things disqualify me as a commando?
    ID bracelet, ring, crucifix necklace
They are 3 items of jewelery that I never remove, not even in the shower.

The crucifix I never take off is only on a 24-or-so inch chain. My big crucifix (Ebony and Silver) is on a 30 inch chain and isn't worn regularly.

No, I don't have to pay rent, I just treat their daughter amazingly well.

thank you for the deferment, Commander.

Sorry for the confusion. Mom moved there after Hurricane Katrina. Although, like I said, could very well be cousins. Don't know much before my Great-Grandfather. We know he ended up in Missouri, but he came from Prussia with 2 brothers. I really need to get on the genealogy websites and find out.

Lot of people had to move because of Katrina. How does she like BA?
Would be interesting to know if they are related. I met a couple through ham radio that wound up being a distant cousin and his wife. My 7 or 8th great grandfather and his 5th or 6th great grandfather were brothers.

Unfortunately, Ham Radio-wise I'm inactive with no equipment. I am a General Class though. Isn't it a wonderful hobby? Mom likes BA, she lives with some friends who run a Wedding Chair Cover business, and it's booming, so I guess they're doing well.

Right now I'm fairly inactive as well. I had taken my hf antenna down for repairs prior to the big ice storm and just haven't gotten them hung back up.
I'm also a General Class, do have a couple of hf rigs, both need work, one has problems with receive, the other is brain dead lol. Its onboard memory was powered by a watch battery, if unplugged for a long period of time, the battery would go dead and you lose not just memory channels, but operating system as well. FYI, if you get a chance to buy an Icom IC 745, they are good radio's, just make sure you never keave them unplugged!
