I'm guessing the contest is a wash.... I still want that nice razor though XD
I also still plan on doing a blind shave ...probably just do it in the kitchen with no blindfold lol .....

I predict that the neck hollows will be where I leave a track or four of missed stubble. I use the heel of the blade for more than half of my neck. With craning my head forward to stretch the skin, & the odd geography, that is the spot where I pay more visual attention to.
Decades away from full-beard growing abilities.

Thanked: 3Its funny because every day I shave when I'm about to start with the sideburns and far sides of the cheeks I keep moving around trying to get a good look at it until I finally just give up and look away to do it by feel... sometimes for me doing things by feel seems more comfortable than doing things in the mirror when everything is backwards.

Ok I just finished my "Blind" shave
I just closed my mirrors. .have a 3 panel mirror lol
So first thought. .. I need to be much better at shaving before I do that out in the field lol
Here is what I shaved with.....
Prep: Shower/warm water
Brush: Kansas sky shockwood 22mm Best Badger 50mm loft by Chris Trimble
Bowl: Dottie shave bowl by symmetrical pottery
Cream: Stone Fox
Razor: Simmons Hardware Barbers Pet #321
Alright so first I tried this soap...got about 2 swipes in and stoped......I will never use this again I did not like it at all....let me know if you want it...
But yah all in all it was an OK shave missed a few spots but took a long time because I was hesitant to shave some spots ....lol
And the neck was by far my most awkward spot to shave!Last edited by Guidry; 10-07-2015 at 01:50 AM.
