Blindfolded shave...have you?
Well they closed the contest thread and I was wondering who has tried this....
I was thinking of trying it myself ... besides the fact that it will undoubtedly be the most patchy shave I have ever had I think I could do a mostly ok shave without looking ...
What's everyone else think.....

Preference this by in no way do I recommend this to anyone.
Haven't actually shaved blindfolded before but have shaved with my eyes closed before. Took longer to shave but not really that much longer you do it all by feel. Really for me the only tricky spot was the sideburns and not ending up lopsided.
I do my neck blind all the time as I look up at the ceiling to stretch it out.

Thanked: 3795A few years ago, I shaved for a few months with just one razor. It was a 6/8 round point with just the word "Schnell" on the tang. I got so familiar with it that I figured I could use it with my eyes closed, and so I did, for a week. I did find that it actually was helpful to make use of sensory cues other than vision. The more I focused on the feel of what the blade was doing the less patches I was leaving behind.

Well the bait sure has me considering it. Damn fine prize that razor surely may be worth a little hemoglobin.
Don't drink and shave!

I met a fellow who had made such a claim, and after seeing this chap, it was very believable.
What? Don't believe me?
Here is photo 'graphic' proof.
