Give that area some time and a wide berth for now...the re-cut can be worse than the first cut...

I had this bump/scar at the edge of my Mo that I was always re-cutting.
When I was at the Dermatologist and pointed it out she said "I can level that out for you" and she did!
Once it healed (again with the "don't re-cut this" warning) I have never had a problem with it again.

(Note how I slipped in that plug for Men's Health Issues, going to the Dr., talking about my problems blah blah - Join us for Movember)

And congratulations on your victory, be sure to post this at "cut of the day" if the Mods have not already moved this thread over there.
I don't see how you would not already be the 2015 Q1, Q2 and Q3 Champion - and shudder at what it will take to beat you out of the 2015 Crown...

    Ouch

I think you will have a permanent reminder of this unfortunate event.

Wear the scar like a man, as they say.

Yeah. My first square point got me too!

    But, that's a nasty one!

I can still see the remnants of my first big cut, from over 2 months ago. Mine is a line about 2 inches long on the cheek, and easily identifiable as a razor cut for most people. At least it wasn't painful. Yours looks like it hurt... A LOT!

Mine has just about healed. The area of the scar is lower than the rest of the skin. It's not quite a crater, but it is definitely less skin than what used to be there. It's typical pinkish scar tissue. It's a good thing I wasn't handsome to begin with, because I sure did do a number on my face.

I want your dermatologist. When I did that, mine said,"hmmm, better biopsy that." Now I have a divot

For me, I am glad I took up straight shaving AFTER I got married... I don't think the wife will mind if it scars (because it is in the perfect "mysterious and dangerous" location to enhance my features). But I know she wouldn't want it in the wedding photos!

    Unhappy

You're not the first & you won't be the last. I've been there many times and I have the scars to remind me of it. All we can do is slow down and try not to get complacent.

Been there. Done that. I once did both cheeks with a square point. It'll heal and you'll have the straight back in your hand soon.
