Thanked: 481I saw that thread, I think* they were referring to the Belgian Blue whetstone.

Okay that makes sense whetstone starts with a "B" Here is another one HOTD it seems simple now that I know it means "hone of the day" but I could not find it on the acronym & abbreviation page. These are not acronyms and they are not abbreviations either it is just the first letter of a word, and that means it is just misspelled

Thanked: 3795Yeah, I thought that I had clarified that it was NOT "Big Beautiful ...," but rather was Belgian Blue Whetstone. Sorry if my jest clouded the real answer.

Thanked: 481Funny thing that, auto correct is slipping into everything and it bites me on a regular basis. Sometimes I'll type something in like 'BBW' and it will change It to a more common thing like 'BBB.' The stupid 'smart' phone doesn't realize I'm talking about specialty sharpening products and not reporting something to the Better Business Bureau. And somewhere I saw them for sale on a webite as 'Belgian Blue Brand sharpening stones.'

I was just thinking out loud that it helps me when the words are spell out . I had to carry a spelling book the first five years of elementary school writing definitions and spelling words three times each every day. I had to take a spelling test at the end of each week. Any how no problem

Thanked: 3795I have prefered stouts for over 30 years. I have a friend who has been foisting IPAs on me for about 4 years. Though I like him, I dislike both his politics and his beer.
I am confident that stouts will remain my favorite and that IPAs will continue to be an abomination.
