    Default Shaving every day

Is it possible that for some of us, we have to wait a few days before a shave. Im able to get a BBS shave with 3 days of growth. If i try to shave every day, i usually start to tear up my face. I enjoy shaving alot, but am i doomed to every other day shaves?

Does anyone else have this problem?

My guess is that it would depend on the (eventual) tolerances of the individuals face?...

Not much help I know, sorry!

A St8 shave is not the same as a gel lite. The razor is kinder to your face. You may as your technique gets better to shave everyday. In this to patience grasshopper.

All honed by the best. Stroping must not be an issue. Do you moisturize after shaving. I and allot of others have to or can't shave the next day. could also be an aggressive angle. What part of your face is the worst after your second shave?

Well i havent really had a problem with second day shaves with the Filly.

The W&B gives me neck and jawline burn. Its been 10 hrs since my shave and im still tender to touch. I threw a bunch of shea butter on right now.

I did put some Anherb A/S gel and Anherb Moisturizing lotion on after this shave...right away, cause i knew it was gonna be a rough day.

    Hey Isaac,
I shave every day without a lot of damage except when I get really heavy handed pressurewise or screw up my angle. (I also try to get/keep my blade as sharp as possible. It seems to help) Afterwards, I use a home-mixed bay rum / witch hazel / glycerine aftershave that really helps tone and cool. Also, if you haven't tried the Proraso AS balm or the Pre/Post for the really tough burn, you should. If I get a bad shave the pre/post really takes the heat out.
Also, How many passes are you trying to do? Some guys can't take too many.
    Good luck.

I think that might be a problem as i read your post. I think i take a few more passes with my W&B cause its not as close as what i get with that filly. I usually do WTG and XTG x 2 . Today i also did an ATG..so that like a total of 4-5 passes i did today. No wonder im on fire

Im just not ever getting a BBS shave, especially on the neck..so i think i overcompensate by doing multiple passes.
