Let's see now... I own and have shaved with a Dovo, Wostenholm, Wade/Butcher, Torrey, a Torrance (some California brand), Aerial Cutlery, Simmons, Robinson & Lane, etc, etc. However, my best shave comes from the very first vintage razor I ever bought. A Challenge Cutlery Celebrated Rifle Razor. I honed it up only once, last year in early summer, and it still is going gangbusters. It's really funny, but everytime I decide to shave with that particular razor, the sink fills with all my whiskers jumping in and commiting Hari Kari before I even begin stropping! I don't know why, but all of my best shaves come from U.S. razors.

    Default Fave razor.....hmmm

after reading this and deciding which razor I love , I have to say its a red imp 133, it was the second I honed and even took a nick out of it when I was honing it, removed the nick and the re-honed and the rest is history....great to hone, great to strop and then shave with, still consistently performs beautifully and has hardly needed any work, its a Morris red imp, not a case , I own a case and prefer the morris.

    thats my story, regards,simon
