Actually, I was an electirc user up until a couple months back. I couldn't find replacement blades for my electric, and was about to buy another one, when I happened upon an article about wet shaving. Why spend another $100 on an electric? I got a DE, then soon thereafter straights cast their siren song upon me. The rest is history.

+! on the DE. I use a classic Gillette for those quick shaves.
