Thread: How much shaved

I shave everyday I enjoy my time in the shave den It's my only space in the whole house that is MINE, MINE, MINE...

I shave my whole face/neck every day because I look forward to it, not because I have to. On my workdays I shave in the morning. I don't start till mid afternoon and work until late at night. On my days off I shave at night. I ride mountain bikes in the daytime and if I shave first the sweat will sting. Always with a straight and always two passes. I love that lather and brush too much to settle for one pass.

I shave every day, except on sundays. I recently discovered that DE hidden away on the back part of the shelf and took it with me on the weekend. It was pretty decent, actualy... and a lot faster with very good results. Almost as good as my straight shaving though I prefer the straight.

I shave everyday not because of job impositions but as part of a personal discipline I need to have in order to work better. I work at home and shaving everyday and wearing a tie helps me set the mood for work. I even have a part of my living room I call "office" or "study"... I know, I know it's crazy. But I simply cannot work in my pijamas and dressing gown all day.

Oh! and I shave my entire face, except for my retro looking 70's style side burns! Groovy!

Military. Every day (even on leave), straight only since I started.

I shave my whole face approx 6 days a week. Haven't touched my mach3 since I got a straight.

I shave every weekday. The only reason I don't shave on weekends is because I go home from college and I currently don't have 2nd shaveable razor although I'm waiting for one in the mail!

Almost all of my face with a mach3 every day, today was first time with proper lather. I do have a small goatee (nothing on the neck) and mustache so I don't have to shave any of the problem areas. The only reason I do this is because I have quite heavy growth and my face feels like a sandpaper 16 hours after shaving, which my GF doesn't really like...

Monday - Friday I use a straight. Unless we are going out over the weekend I abstain from shaving. I started doing this because I like the slightly longer beard to shave on Monday morning, much closer. I haven't touched my old mock3 since I started shaving with a str8. I donated it to my son (14 and still afraid of a str8).

I have spoken to a lot of military and ex-military on these forums and its interesting to find out that military personel use straights. I heard from another military person in this forums, Navy Chief, who spoke of using a stright. I shave once a day in the morning and once in the afternoon with the striaght in order to learn to use the straight. Once I get up to speed with the sraight it will replace the double edges.
