i shaved one of my girlfriends legs yesterday so she could compare it to the other one that she used her Gillette blue star on. they were pretty even. i did WTG to start which may have been wrong, i think i should have just gone straight to ATG, or up the leg, as the hairs an her legs grow pretty much straight out, with only a slight angle. she liked it, i only had one very minor nick where the razor caught and left a mark. i used my SS Puma and it seemed to work good.

One other tip... use a great smelling soap/cream. I guess the Penhaglion's Blenheim Bouqet wasn't a total waste... she loves the smell and feel of the stuff. Plus it does work better than the canned goo she was using.
Hmm.. I'd bet Mitchell's Wool Fat would be a good one, too, since it leaves skin so soft...Anyone tried it on legs before?

this has probably already been said but first off you want the sharpest cleanest edge possible, and it helps to use whichever razor that you are most comfortable with. take your time go slow only lather a little at a time, cutting a womans legs is a good way to cause yourself quite a bit of pain, let her control whats going on you just have to work the blade let her do the rest, and by that i mean where she sits and how she positions herself in order for you to get to every last part of her leg, do not sacrifice her comfort for your ease, if she is uncomfortable blood will be the only end to the situation, finally i would say do two passes one with and one against it helps alot to prevent irritation and use balm, anything contaiig alchohol could result in major discomfort in your lower region

yaaay i shaved my gfs legs for the first time last night. awesome experience. but i nicked her down on the wrinkles byt the achillies tendon, ooops. i didnt stretch the skin enough or have her curl her toes back towards her shin, she liked it tho, i was a gentle as i could barely usuing any pressure at all. it wasnt the closest shave....but it brought us closer together. i think ill be her personal leg shaver for now on. im stoked

I'm about to go down this road tonight. Looks like the Merkur DE with a fresh blade (too new with the straight), and uber lather with T&H Almond, and mama bears almond soap. Wish me luck

That went really well! She enjoyed the whole lathering process, and the warm towels. Once I finished one of her legs, she wanted to try and do the other one herself, which went quite well. Only one small cut on her knee, which closed right up. She even did an alum block pass and cold water rinse. All in all, she agreed it is way closer and more enjoyable than her Venus disposables.
She also told me she normally uses a new disposable for EACH leg, so this should be quite the cost saver as well!

Shaving women's legs
I've been shaving women's legs since the mid 70's. I admit it is a fetish of mine. I never met a woman who didn't love it. I do it "barber style" using a base cream followed by hot lather from a machine. My only advice is to go slow and gentle, and realize that you may have to shave 2 or 3X. She will love it. Always leads to something interesting. SB :-) _/
