Awww, Spike, sorry to hear that mate. I'm not going to chime in with any advice 'cos I don't have any.

If it were me, I'm bloody minded enough to try it with face stretching. But it sounds pretty debilitating nonetheless. Re:bath, suggest you tie that bloody reticulated python of yours to the towel rail and use it to pull yourself out.

Pleased to be able to report a very acceptable shave chaps. Silver came over & helped me have a nice long hot bath followed by a slow considered comfortable & mostly very close shave.

I did the stropping after Silver rolled my Prima Klang on its edge on the first & second laps Got the CrO strop & got Silver to stretch it while I gave the Dovo a few laps. Then the same for 20 on the Dovo XL strop & 5 on the Tony Miller Latigo which finishes it off beautifully. Then I had my bath & started the prep in there. Post bath & pre-lather, I had this to take off.

Loads of lather & Facial gymnastics followed. Silver helped with the first stretches in the hair for the first cheek passes but the rest was Gurn City for two WTG passes. A few droplets of red stuff under the chin & not quite close enough on the moustache were the only real faults. Silver has scored it an 8/10 on BBS. Used a TI super brush & MWF soap & GFT SF for pre & post. I did try & get my paw high enough to stretch but to no avail.

Thanks for all the good wishes & advice guys. Any that I ignored was my own fault.

Mark: when my rainbow boa grows up she'll be about six foot. Plenty long enough to drape across my shoulders & wield brush & blade in her coils.....

Congrats to both of you on the successful shave ! Did you really have to dislocate your shoulder just for a bit of pampering ?
