I rinse my blade with hot water holding the razor with one hand and turning the faucet on and off with the other. Not much water used at all.

Thanked: 143During the shave I swish it in the sink which is full of hot water.
After the shave I rinse it under the faucet and dry with a towel. I then give it 10 laps on the fabric and 10 on the leather to be sure the edge is clean and dry as my careful use with the towel probably prevented the edge from getting wiped dry that way.

Thanked: 278I wipe the blade on a damp cloth draped over the edge of the sink. Just enough to remove the bulk of the lather, no need to go overboard. This way water rarely touches the scales or the pivot.

I rinse it off using hot water from the tap. I wipe the blade when I'm done shaving.
