Another 5 Oclock shadow question
The poll about a 5 O'Clock shadow has left an interesting question in my mind:
Has wet shaving allowed you to put off the 5 O'Clock shadow?
For example - before I started wet shaving I would get a 5 O'Clock shadow at approximatly 10:00AM, safeties pushed that all the way back to well 5:00PM while straights have eliminated the 5 O'clock shadow entirely.

Thanked: 278It's been 29 hours since I shaved with a straight. My face looks and feels like it does immediately after an electric shave.
So yes, using a straight daily stops me from ever looking like I need a shave.

Thanked: 317I work 13 hours shifts (compressed work week) and I've been VERY pleased with how well I've been able to keep the 5 o'clock shadow at bay. I shave around 2:00 in the afternoon, and when I get off work at 4:30am, I still look presentable. Not perfect, but presentable.
With my old mach3, even if I did multiple passes including ATG, I would look down right scruffy by about midnight.
