Hi Obie,
I know I've said it before, and its been said in this post many times, but I always thoroughly enjoy reading your posts!
I'd like to add to Nates request that your next book be a collection of straight shaving banter. We've all had conversations with people about our shaving fixation so I think that could be a very interesting and enjoyable read! Theres a possible idea for a sticky there as well... Hmm!
I look forward to reading many more of your posts..!
Best,
Stuart

BINGO!
#1, I needed to join a gym again for the sake of physical fitness.
But the big bonus has been unfettered shave time. Like you, I have two youngins' at home, and thus the only real shave time is late at night, which cuts into free time with the wife (she gets a bit irked if I spend an hour "beautifying" instead of hanging out with her...). So, now I have the gym. Bonuses: lots of freshly laundered towels, plenty of hot water that you can splash all over the place, the occaisional remarks of interest, etc.

I didn't find a particular challenge in skydiving.
It certainly was thrilling, but there did not appear to be any aspect of it that you could really push yourself to get better at, to excel. My preffered sports were windsurfing, surfing, mountain biking, and later kitesurfing.
I certainly think everyone should try skydiving at least once. I'm very glad that I did it not only once, but a 13 times. Definitely like nothing else out there.

LOL - that is funny, because I think my wife is thinking "you know, we could be doing something else beside shaving this last hour before bed..."! Everyday should have 25 hours, with the second to last one reserved exclusively! I'm not a huge showboater, but I do look forward to some public shaves...maybe in the spring I'll try the "broken mirror on the tree in the front of the house in an undershirt shave"...yes.

Thanked: 235One of the main benefits I have found in shaving at the gym is shaving in an environment where I am not surrounded by people who would benefit from me slashing my own throat.
