Thank you sir for a truely great video on this, I have been shaving with a Straight for a little over 2 weeks & Love It, Some of your technique is also what I've started using but I see I have a ways to go before I achieve the confidence that you sir obviously have.
From day one I've been using a wash cloth as my blade wipe but I see that the sponge is a better way to go & will be acquiring one soon to add to my routine.

Thanked: 1160Next to Chimenches video,I was always impressed with this one as well. Yes it's fast, but it's the technique as well that always fascinated me.

Thanked: 1160I swear that's alum he's applying before his soap and I have tried that with not good results as alum usually breaks down soap bubbles quickly and it also leaves residue in the brush. I would not recommend that part...yet he's doing it with outstanding results ????????
