Ready, Set, GO!!
So, I timed myself shaving today. It took me under 50 seconds to strop, about 1 minute to create a luxurious lather and cover my face, 3 minutes for the first pass, and 1 minute for the second pass...I did push myself a little for speed I admit but no nicks and a nice shave.
"Why?" I bet you are asking. "Why in the hell would anyone bother to time their shave?" Well, I tell you why, a mutual friend of ours, nickelking, is doing a speech for a college assignment on straight shaving and asked me to be his prop. He has to give the speech within an 8 minute time period so he asked me to time my shave in segments so that he can pace his speech to my abilities...yes, I will be shaving in a college class as nickleking goes on about why his fellow college students are shaving wrong and what the proper way to shave is.
Should I invite the young ladies in the class to come feel how truly smooth a face can be after my demo?

For all you out there in SRP land who have difficulty lathering MWF that is what I used for this test run

Sounds like that will be fun. PS: I don't find MWF hard to lather at all.

Thanked: 1371Don't cut your nose off in front of the college kids.
Strange women lying in ponds distributing swords is no basis for a system of government.

Thanked: 1195Interesting experiment, Mark. Though speed is not a top priority in my shaving realm I am curious about your results.

It turns out that the teacher nixed the idea because the schools insurance wont cover me...so it goes.

How about a video? Don't need to insure a video, and on a large screen or projector your face will be even bigger!
