Don't forget that these mirrors can also be found in Goodwill's and charity stores for next to nothing. I found mine at my local Good will for $3 USD.

Yup, i got flack from my wife for it at first, but i am pretty sure she uses it too now. You can pick up the unlit ones that are magnified on one side for about $15 from ebay.

It's a bit pricey but should last the rest of my life and then some. I personally love this mirror, it is solidly constructed, has great glass and is rock solid when extended. I lather with the bathroom mirror and shave with the Gatco.
That's the exact one I have in my bathroom, flip it over and and it gives an even closer view, had it for over 15 years, who knew it would work out so well for straight shaving. When I'm done, I can push it back, turn it sideways, and it sits flush against the wall. And the fact that you can move it around makes it even more convenient.

Fantastic accessory - never thought about it really until I saw this post!!

edit:frank47 - haha - have mine mounted the exact way! Push it back and it sits flush!

    Must be a frank thing.
What a curse be a dull razor; what a prideful comfort a sharp one
