Personally, I prefer more substantial grinds in anything above 6/8, so my vote would definitley be for the Friodur! Besides, I'm not sure but I don't think they're making them anymore...

I would go with the TI. The new Henkels is a reinvented brand. All the experience making straights is with TI

Let me muddy the waters by throwing this candidate into the mix. Thiers Issard 7/8" Singing Straight Razor, Black Horn. I would love for somebody to review this razor.

I own the henckel razor and it is one of the smoothest razors I own, of coarse the only way to tell the difference is to get them both. Let us know which is better.
