Default Try not to laugh too hard...

So I've been shaving with a straight since Christmas when I got a Dovo Shavette. Got rid of my cartridge razor and haven't looked back.
I've gotten a few nicks and thinned my skin a few times but never anything a quick bit of my Styptic pencil couldn't fix.
    Until tonight.
I've been shaving with either round or muted pointed razors till I got a sweet little Clover back from Glen.Name: uploadfromtaptalk1314933794402.jpg

It can be seen here in the first photo. Lovely little shaver.
Was a bit peeked tonight during my shave as my wife was talking to her mother about trying to get me her great grandfathers razor but my wife's uncle wants it (to sell. I'd get it shaving again and pass it down to my boys when they're old enough).
So my razor must have been feeling left out and it gave me a kiss.Name: uploadfromtaptalk1314933976306.jpg

First bloody pic is from about 80 seconds after the kiss. I had rinsed off the initial bit and USED BOTH Styptic pencil and match. It kept bleeding.
So I just finished shaving and got my second pass in every where else.
About ten minutes later it stopped and this is what I've got now.

a bit of practice and more attention to the point and you will be golden.
I like spikes a lot they allow to do some detailed work in tight areas. I started with a spike point razor and had a few minor accidents myself at the beginning.

I got a couple really bad ones, but the styptic pencil stopped them right away. There's a very faint scar from the first one, and the 2nd one has a scar that's starting to go away (but probably won't ever fully go away.)

That's the bit that made me squeamish as well. Blood ... meh ... I used to work in a slaughter house. Just stop it before you run too low and you're golden. Pale ... but golden.

Good Heavens... are you sure you didn't lop a bot fly larvae in half?

When those blackheads get big enough to show up on a geological survey map, you should probably try to remove them prior to shaving, or finish cleaving them free of the mother ship when their sheilds are down.

I was watching 'Voyager' a little while ago and saw Tuvok 'damage' his face with a Vulcan razor... that thang had a spike in each end! He was blind and shaving with water only. I'm sure Seven would have puked if she'd seen what you posted...

I have never let that much blood... unless you count the knee operation.
