Dumbest question
Since shaving with a straight I've been asked a few dumb questions this might be a fun poll, what's the dumbest question you've been asked. Mine has been on a rather consistent basis is" how do you get your mustache to grow just on the bottom of your lip" I couldn't believe my ears, and the look on their face was great, when I told them, I just shave it down. I've been asked this question more times then anyone would believe. Anyone else?

IMO the only dumb question is the one you dont ask. I have done a lot of things in my life and have been "new" to all of them when I started out. If you dont ask, how do you learn?
It is easier to fool people than to convince them they have been fooled. Twain

While there may be no such thing as a stupid question, there is most certainly an abundance of stupid answers and/or comments( of which I may or may not be guilty myself of making ).

While I agree with you too a point ,either you have been lucky enough to have missed all the dummies in the world, but
I have to say that there are certianly dumb questions,If youve never heard one your a lucky man, and dont watch a lot of T.V. Aperfect example is when I was Using a razor at work and someone asks,"what are ya doing?, shaving?"
thats a dumb question, but I was hopeing for something a little funnier to give us all a laugh.Last edited by Grizzley1; 12-19-2011 at 08:11 PM.

Thanked: 1587It's not how dumb is the question, but how questioned is the dumb.

Dumbest question I have been asked...
Whilst browsing Ebay instead of working some idiot looked over my shoulder and asked "why dont you just get a Gillette fusion" this was followed by a brief bout of sniggering.
He still cant understand why every time I walked past him I look at him with all the pity I can muster

I once asked a group of guys at work how they shaved. To a man they all acted as if they were all shaving using the best most clearly superior way, yet each one of them shaved in a completely different fashion. I suppose the dumb question came from me, but I thought it was funny how they each shaved using unquestionably the best method, but had never considered any other options.

Good point! A forum for even cartridge users would be helpful to them, but there may not be the energy or interest for it.
