Yah, I get a much better shave with more than a days worth of growth. I whip out the big Wade & Butcher & that baby mows my steel wool right off.

I take a little time between shaves as well, although very rarely more than 24 hours

Makes for better face lathering, too.

I always try to give me face at least one day after the day I shave to revive a bit and get some decent growth. I don't like shaving with just a little stubble. I find it causes much irritation.

Well I am a M-W-F & mondays are the best for shaving. It really does seem easier to shave. I also find that T & Th morning I have about the same regrowth in the AM as an electric shaver has at noon the day they shaved. Also seems to me like there is a slow point in the regrowth, about now it when it starts coming in faster (noon T).

And I like when I have had even more than 3 days. 5 days of growth, its much quicker to straight shave than anything else I know. Half the surface area cleared in 2 strokes :O

I agree. Job permitting, it's kind of nice to only shave every few days. I do it Wednesday evenings and Saturday mornings (because I happen to have a better size chunk of time available to relax). Shaving less often gives you something to look forward to as well.

My beard doesn't grow fast enough to shave every day
I do enjoy removing a few days growth, though - it just feels 'right' somehow

    Hi all,

During the golf season, I work every day and I hate going to work unshaven. So, I just do a one pass "good enough" shave on a daily basis. I definitely wish I could skip one day a week, but it is a rare thing this time of year.

    Good luck,
    Keith

RDM2, I take care of the turf and listen to rich people whine all day...so it's a little less fun then you might imagine!

In the end, I do like my job though..and I also enjoy my daily shave. In the winter, things slow down, so I can give my face a break then.

    Keith
