I think I need help with my RAD! My 6th Boker only arrived yesterday, so I haven't had chance to clean her up a little and post photos, and tonight I've gone on the Bay and purchased my 7th! SWMBO is gonna kill me!

I hope she doesn't use one of yer razors to do it.

    6/8 Elite

All are just really nice razors. Each however has its own strong point which, oddly enough is different on the three.

Tree Brand has the best scales
Elite has the best blade shape
Silver Steel has the best edge

Now, if only I could configure all the above into ONE razor....
Put the Elite in the tree brand scales and see if you can't get a better edge on it. That's what I would do.

While I'm not a huge new razor fan I do own 2 new Boker's.
A 6/8" Extra Hollow Ground & a 7/8" The Celebrated hollow grind. Both fine examples of old world craftsmanship.
    Both excellent shavers.

The Celebrated looks superb, big razor though,no problem shaving with Spanish nose i should think, ideal for awkward places.Does it shave as well as it looks,

Its a killer shaver. They really ground them both so thinly that you wouldnt expect them to be new modern razors.
And as far as the Celebrated being discontinued, I'm glad I got it when I did.
Its set in horn and there is a decorative laser etching on the spine.
