Willie is a fine soap. I used it exclusively for years and still Uber with it. A short soak with hot water in the mug with the puck in the bottom will soften it up, as in any hard soap. Try a few drops of glycerine on top of it before beginning to lather, and stir it good, dipping the brush in warm water occasionally until it is just right! You will find that most soaps and cremes last a good long time as well, if not overused. As you learn, you will find a little of most goes a long way!
