Congratulations on a fine choice. Mine just arrived a while ago and it's beautiful.

I have got to quit reading these types of threads. I just ordered the G12 in the Hamada & Blue version

Ok everyone say it with me:

Hi my names is <your name here> I have R.A.D. (Razor Acquisition Disorder), B.A.D (Brush Acquisition Disorder) and finally S.A.D. (Scuttle Acquisition Disorder). I know there is no known cure for theses disorders so I am asking for your compassion and understanding and that you promise me never to allow me to find a cure for these disorders.

    Can I get a AMEN...

What? You godda be kidding! Never in a million years will I let you find a cure. Suffer along with the rest of us destitute, near bankruptcy , afflicted, souls in our desperate quest to acquire everything regardless of use. And the devil made me do it is not an excuse.

I have tracked down the culprit. Sadly enough, Georgetown Pottery entered my data in wrong on the digital shipping label. My mug is either en route to, or from, Kabul, Afghanistan.

ProudMarineDad totally beat me to the punch anyway. Save the small variations from individual scuttle to scuttle, he got the exact one I ordered. Sigh. Time to email GP and see if they'll send out a new one or make me wait the month or so it'll take Space-A to get the ^*#$@* thing back to Maine.

Ouch! ouch! and double damn ouch!! I would hope that they will send you out a new one. I think they should deliver a new one to you in person.

I received my GP 12 scuttle and have been using it for a week now. Like it very much, however I find the bowl a bit big. Oh well now I'll have to find a longer handled brush. The scutlle is excellent, keeping my lather nice and warm, exactly what I was looking for, It's the hamada and persimmon color. Rob

Man I almost feel bad for Georgetown for screwing up my order! The young lady I spoke with was very nice and apologetic and was super careful to make sure they got down the right info this time. They, of course, sent out a new one immediately (should see the shipping notification in an hour or so.) With any luck I'll have warm lather this time next week.

vmanthis, Thanks for the update. As the weather cools off I am looking at scuttles. It sounds like Georgetown has good customer service.
