Well, I certainly don't lack the time for trying a restoration, but I do lack a lot of the tools. Repinning can't be done yet, so cleaning the tang is very tricky. But what has been done is a session or two with WD-40 and wet/dry paper, and a thrice-over with the brasso.

The nicks in the blade have all but vanished, thanks to the King 800 stone. On Saturday, I'm hoping to land a 1-6K hone, and *finally* get underway with getting it into a shave-ready state. As for now though, it's in a useable but rough state.

This might be a bobbins iPod photo, but it still looks like a different razor.

Nice job! Being Swedish steel that should hone up rather nicely. Enjoy!

I've had a look at that area with a 40x loupe. It's nothing serious, just surface pitting.

The last post from myself in this thread, hopefully. You've seen the "before" shot, now have a much happier "after" shot...

I might invest in a dremel, and try and buff the razor up well, but that's for the future. For now, I'm happy with it, and currently awaiting some stones to get it useable again.
