    Gloss cherry or candy apple red, chrome frame and white scales would have a really 1950's hot rod sort of feel I think, not that I really know anything much about 1950's hot rods.
    Use white G10 with a candy red wedge. Use red to paint or color the pins after peening. Oh yeah screams hot rod! Love it!
