Bought a Norton 4k/8k combo and should have it by Saturday afternoon to get some honing and touch-ups done. I don't mind the wait...it'll give me some time to come up with an excuse for SWMBO.

Thanked: 375A slightly used Zulu Grey 8 x 3. I think I got a decent deal considering what it sells for. The 6 x 2 ZG I have is decent to use but I feel that the added contact area and contact time might save me some strokes on the hone. Maybe I could cut the 6 x 2 length wise and make to Barber hones? just a thought....

Just got these in the mail!
I can finally migrate some of my favorite soaps to a permanent home. Just have to decide what two soaps get "mug" status!?!
Two vintage Old Spice Shaving Mugs.
The, "Grand Turk", Salem, 1786, and the, "Recovery", Salem, 1794.

Thanked: 49Love those. Always reminds me of my grandfather. I use one but I actually like a taller mug for building lather. Still love using it though because he gave it to me and I'm sure he used it for many years.
