Waiting on a TI La Legende razor from Fendrihan at the moment. It will be only my second new current production razor after the Revisor I bought several years ago. Was always curious about the new TIs and they had a 2 day 50% off sale with a code at checkout for two TI models. Just too tempting. Converted to USD $118

    Some valuable advice.

    1) The metal backing bends easily....extreamly easily.
    2) The nickel plating is very thin ... don't use them on coarser stones...i used the 600 i think on a shapton 2k and the shapton ate the nickel plating of along with the diamonds and all) on 1/4 of the diamond card.

I then atemted to glue the 600/1200 back to back using epoxy and that solved the flexibiliti/bending problem.
But i never used them on hones ever again. Just for touching up a poket knife once in a while.

I have a Ez-Lap 26F pocket stone that has served me for sharpening an slurry for almost 5 years and still goes like crazy.

Actually , I rarely use them for slurry. I carry the 600 everyday in my wallet should I need it for my EDC knife.

for edc it's ok...i just wished they used steel for backing not just raw iron and nickel plating over it.
I like the idea of diamond sharpening power in the size of a credit card but the backing killed it for me.

I just placed an order for a Mora knife on Amazon to replace the one that went missing this summer.

No, it's the green Companion with a carbon steel blade. There's a sale going on. I do think the firesteel model is on sale, too.
