13/16 at least, I think. I have a sister-razor, a Burrell Top-Flight (Made in the same building!) for it. If it works out, a big milestone in my American blades. These are so good!

TBH, Rez, it is amazing at how many importers of German goods switched to American makers during wartime. I have a few of Wester Bros razors which are not German-Made, but USA from that period.
It's interesting how things ebbed and flowed.
Case followed the path of least resistance, it seems!

A Case is a Case! Some were German-made. WR hung it out as long as he could.
A good percentage of Case razors were from Germany as I understand.

I think a lot of it is how much stock was in before war was declared.
Some went on. They went all-American. Some dedicated it to the wartime scrap.
Some actually held onto it in case it went the other way.
The cutlery trade's last days, IMO.

Just got in from my regular hitch and I had a special care package waiting for me.

There was an amazing array of stuff in there. I am not quite sure where to start. Tha new style of sand paper looks like it is going be be the cats pajamas. There is a loupe, a Dremel brush, curlers, a polish cloth, acrylic scale material, mother of pearl shell, a Le Coulter blade and some rods for my jewellers saw.
