So the 8/8 Southern & Richardson showed up today at work. Just in the knick of time, today has been a little too stressful. I left work early and now all I want to do is relax, watch Deadliest Catch and start "restoring" this piece.
Good to know that it could look like this if i got it professionally done. Sweet

Default Now that I'm a Boar fanatic...

This beauty arrived in the mail today. It's the Semogue Owners Club with a Cherrywood handle.

I attribute (or blame, depending on your perspective) this purchase to one of my brethren here who raved about in in a post a few days ago. It is soon to get used for the first time for my evening shave!

    Harold,
That's a very nice brush! I hope it works as good as it looks.

That's a beautiful razor, a real gem. I have to be honest though, the linked to razor is a poor restore. It has much of it's definition around the tang buffed off and the edged at the toe rounded off badly. When they have been over buffed, they get a slightly melted look to them. I hope nothing like that happens to your razor.

Nice razor cheetah. Haven't seen you around for a while. You got any of those old paint stirrers up and running yet? From memory you had some real beauties.

Have this coming from my new razor "Pusher Man" Wolfpack34. Mike has me hopelessly addicted to his beautiful restorations!

See this is why Hart is my best friend. He shoots from the hip. The crazy thing is really got caught up in the brilliance of the reflective quality. Before I got my Southern, I'd never heard of the maker before...but htey say the same thing about when you get a new car....you start to notice all the other ones.

    Cool! Thanks for the feedback

What's up Grazor. Im back (for a bit). My money was tied up in snowboarding, past due rent and carbon fiber parts for my track bikes. I'm back on my search for 8/8+ razors. I did try shaving once though...lol I need to give it a go again.

    Thanks for checking in though
