I am thinking they are Faux Ivory scales
and the whole thing should clean up nice with a bit of TLC

Very cool, I have a 7-Day set of Ed Wustof's, only one razor was honed, used it once and was a fantastic shave - have a pic?

Wow - never seen a Wustof like that one...superb! We have somewhat different tastes in razors, but I always love seeing what you post, you've got me to try some razor's outside my box a few times.
