Sorry my shop is in the kitchen. We do what we can.
Input so I can optimise the press is appreciated
It was so cool to drill out a pin. And to not wobble drilling scales.
That's funny Jonathan. Most of my workshop is in my kitchen except for my belt sander, my cheap drill press from Harbor Freight (I plan on getting a better one when I can) & my buffer which is on a pedestal out in the garage. Everything else is in my kitchen.

[QUOTE=murf;1514781]So excited to have this coming to me today that I didn't shave this morning and arranged to work out of my home office today so I can shave with it as soon as it arrives.

I won this on ebay a couple weeks ago and sent it off to wolfpack34 immediately for restore. Looks like another amazing restore from Mike! My first wedge blade.

These are pix Mike posted of it just before he shipped it off to me:

That's a very sweet razor murf!!!!! Congrats on a great score & work very well done by Wolfpack!

I have posted about an escher I have coming this week hopefully and aside from lapping I was wondering about the label. Do you guys seal or protect the label from further damage in using the stone or not? And if so, what did you use?
Here's what's left that I'd like to save.

Mike, did it come with a slurry too? Please don't tell me you cut a piece off. I guess it's ok if you did but IMHO, they sell slurry's on eBay. I truly don't think you cut it though.

Nope, didn't receive it yet, still "in the mail" Steve. I wouldn't dare cut one of these, nor have the proper tools to do it I don't think. Looks like it came in the original box with matching slurry stone as the box accommodates both.

I taped mine off and sprayed Varathane. Seems to seal it off great!

Cool Mike. Now it fits. I really didn't think a man of your integrity would cut it. Sorry I asked.
