Ya. WD 40 everything. Loosen thubscrew, shove the motor inward, snug the thumbscrew. Set your belt to the proper RPM. 220 or thereabouts is good. Loosen thumbscrew. Tap on motor to get it back out. WD40 everywhere! Snug thumbscrew!
Yours might have acme threads on the thumb screw. Same principle!

You and Sharpton are spot on. Test went as you directed. WD-40, Lefty loosey on the side adjustments. belt moved easily. Belt greased with WD-40 to keep lubricated.
Press works like a charm. Thanks to both of you for the Class and education. I was lost and scared. All good now. You guys and this group is a Godsend.Your only as good as your last hone job.

Thanked: 26So excited to have this coming to me today that I didn't shave this morning and arranged to work out of my home office today so I can shave with it as soon as it arrives.
I won this on ebay a couple weeks ago and sent it off to wolfpack34 immediately for restore. Looks like another amazing restore from Mike! My first wedge blade.
These are pix Mike posted of it just before he shipped it off to me:
