Looks to be 1/4 hollow. Hope so, love heavy Sheffield grinds. Rough to hone sometimes but man, what a smooth shave!

Just picked up a "Foil" Greaves and Sons razor- a very nice 15/16 with horn scales. I can't wait to give it a spin!

Just got this outstanding vintage strop fromJapan. Possibly vintage Kanoyama/kanayama under other brand name. Real beauty

Snagged this guy off Ebay and it is "in the mail." I have no real idea if it is any good or not since it is an Ebay crapshoot buy, but it was cheap enough that I won't cry about it. At the very least I can use it to hone my sharpening skills (tee hee). Then again, it might surprise me.

I just got a new strop thats in the mail as well. Dont think it'll be as nice as that one Frameback but hey its my second one ever. Still new to SR shaving and have chewed my poor mans strop kit up enough to replace it. Got it from chefs knives to go. A 3x18 leather for $20. For that price its worth a shot. This should do the trick until I can afford something nicer.

Scored this today...looks like the edge is clean and I just have to clean the rust off the spine. I am almost positive the scales are Ivory, it is a Joseph Rodgers and sons.

A box arrived from Texas today with some loaners and some gifts.
The Pitchford wedge will be tested thoroughly as I mentioned to Tom not having really found a British razor that shaves my face as well as my best German blade. I look forward to the trials, but worry what my wet hands might do to the leather scales so will try to use the towel wipe on this one. The other, a krosskeys, has my favourite grind and sounds like a singer. I know I will love that one. The ivory bits and project blades all will give me some winter project work.
I appreciate the loan of amazing vintage blades in PRISTINE condition and just had to share.

Cool, Mike! Hope those parts, pieces will be handy. The 'Flood' is a bit stout for me. The half-bottle I have will last forever, I think!
The atomizer is a gift, by proxy, from Geezer. He sent me 2 with other things and one already resides with Hirlau!

I just got these in the mail today. I look forward to cleaning them up a little bit and honing them. I spent the most on the Dubl Duck and I am a little disappointed with wear/shape at the toe. I am hoping it will not make too much of an issue when I go to hone it. I am new to honing straight razors but am not new to knife sharpening so I will see how I do. I have some cheaper razors to try out first. Ill be using some Naniwa Specialty Stones.
