    Hard to turn.
I have an idea to try using ocean blue tint urethane and those seashells you sent me. Wondering what a loose stack of those, filled with the blue and then turned down might look like.
Then there's a few other materials, like antler I still want to try, as well as machinable aluminum.

Well it's not what 'I've' got in the mail but what a friend got in the mail.

I sent a good friend a little 'something' to use with his cast iron.

Perhaps he'll show a pic of it in action.

Thanks for noticing the bench. Hand carved over a hundred years ago by a friend of my Great Grandfather.

That's awesome, Mike! Hard to tell from the picture, and you may have already, but I'd be the type to try & preserve that hand written message. Maybe clear nail polish? Acrylic sealer? Spit-balling again...
