Yes crawler, when Sears was still Sears before it became a name that just sold crap that barley meets specs.

Score. That is an Escher Barbers Gem package for Sevrin R Droescher. He was another that bought high end stuff and had it labeled to resell. His razor were top shelf as were his strop and hones. There are also some very fine cuticles out there with the SRD name. One of the beauties is that his stuff is as good of quality as Dubl Duck or Hess but is lesser known and it often goes for the same kind of prices as unlabeled stuff. I have a few of his razors. I went on a bit of a spree once upon a time.

Thanks for the reply, RezDog. I had read here that Sevrin R. Droescher resold excellent Solingen razors as well...believe the post was from thebigspendur. So after I grabbed this Thuri at a bargain late last night, I thought why not search the Bay for one of their razors. My timing was impeccable. Today, I won an auction for a pristine SRD razor for only $46, and the blade appears to be practically NOS and in incredible condition.

I must cease this SRD spree pronto, but I can relish the deals and thank you guys for pointing out their unrealized values to me. This lovely blade should arrive early next week:

That lovely razor is likely a top shelf blade and able to take the finest edge and hold it forever. There are some typically undervalued razors out there. The price you paid is not unseen for this brand. There are a few others that rarely go for the price you would expect of that kind of quality, they are after all as good as any DD or C-Mon or Hess or dare I say it, Filli and for under $50. A true value razor.
