Today this super clean Keen Kutter and ever ready brush with old spice mug arrived. Razor is going to clean up fantastic. Mug will be a display its pretty haggard. Best my research shows 48 to early 50's. And the brush is in fine shape! I may just wash and use it as is the bristles are still soft and flexible. Any advice for the brush?

The strop collection is now complete. 3 new ones all showed up today.

    L to R

SRD Premium IV - Had this one already. Great strop.. scratchy with lots of draw.

SRD Roo Strop - The Roo leather is thin but feels great. Very light draw, soft feedback. I got the pressed felt second. Very interesting strop.

Tony Miller No. 2 Bridle - To replaced the one i damaged. I can't believe how different the old one feels after a year. I need to break this thing in!

Kanayama #60000 - the Cordovan has a tiny bit of very smooth draw. Geez its nice.

Well i have one hook left in the bathroom but I think im all stocked up on leather for now. Im looking for one last vintage strop.. but patience is a virtue when hunting. Ill find one out in the wild someday.

So it has an ear broken off non show side above the pivot but that's ok. And it appears to have hone wear so I'm anxiously awaiting this one. I wonder if these were display or show pieces? Looks super clean though.

There quite a few Wade & Butcher, "Blank for concaving" around. Seems plausible that these were sold originally as a wedge "ready for concaving" in order to get your Local grinder to hollow your razor to your liking. Cool piece.

The time period is correct and it was a time when the business of grinding wedge razor into hollow popular, we have seen some very nicely ground razors that where originally wedges extremely well done.

got my new HERR razor in the mail today.
It's a 23mm, so I'm figuring it to be 15/16 in American measurements

It is a wedge and I can't wait for tomorrow mornings shave

    Wade and Butcher
Some minor chips in the edge, a bit of patina and not a clue what the scales are made of.
