Thanked: 4206Planning my winters projects, Shaun.
I was low on razor rebuilds and I threw an offer at Mr Fuji that he accepted.
Musta been fate.
Funny how so many blades from Japanese barber shops have the toe honed to snot.
Real taper on a few of these that I may end up living with since I don't want to loose 3/16 of blade just to square them up again.
The exceptions will be the Gloria and SK3. Those need to be evenly profiled to smile properly.
Used some of that 3M metal restorer on them fresh out of the box, and oh my it does do a beauty job on removing crud. Turned the cloth black in moments, not minutes like Mothers.
Might do a few tests against mothers, stroke per stroke for restoration and polishing power..

Thanked: 4826I have some winter projects for you too. They will make it there, eventually, probably even before winter :-)
The Japanese barbers certainly did kill a lot of razors. It boggles my mind how many of them have continued to flood the market. An endless stream!It's not what you know, it's who you take fishing!

Thanked: 72A rare reissue of a scent from my favorite perfumery in the world, Smell Bent. They whipped up a single batch of a 2013 favorite called Sweet Tyranny, never to be produced again. 25 bottles and done. Can't wait til it gets here!!
Notes: orris root with fresh orange, incense, aged patchouli, Indian sandalwood, bourbon vanilla, vetiver and authoritarian musk
D-rings, not handles

Aloha!
Getting low on this balm, so a re-supply;
Proraso PRE-Shave Cream (that I actually use as AFTER shave cream - or Balm if you prefer that word)
Also ordered a summer staple that I like, and have since my father wore it many decades ago;
Old Spice LIME;
I'm a bit of a metro-sexual with fashion, especially when I travel, so I like matching luggage et al. I just ordered this brown leather razor case for traveling. My luggage is the hand made J.W. Hulme Luggage Company in Minnesota in brown leather and dark green canvas.
To match this luggage;
Mahalo!

This is interesting as I live about 4.5 miles from them and didn't know about them or if I did I forgot. When I see the prices I could see why I might forget.....
I have gotten a few things from Duluth Pack that although in my opinion they are expensive are a little cheaper and they are still a Minnesota company and of good quality.
