Man I wish I had that luck...or patience/determination. I have mostly given up looking for a GB Anchor.
    Congrats on the great find!

You can have everything, and still not have enough.
I'd give it all up, for just a little more.

The truth really is stranger than fiction sometimes....

So here I sit, holding a razor that is probably over 150+ years old, made in a country across an ocean. Somehow in it's travels, it ended up in Alabama, USA, and sat there for who know's how long. And then one day, it's found, and it makes it way onto a computer network where it's available to millions upon millions to see and is purchased by some bald guy in Toronto, Ontario.

So today, after making another trip in it's long journey, it arrives in Toronto, Ontario, from Alabama in the United States of America, to sit on my breakfast bar. Unbelievable, 150 years ago, if you had of written a serial in a newspaper describing how this razor made it into my hands today, people would be as amazed as they were when Swift told them about Gulliver's Travels.

Here are some quick pics before it goes off again for a cleaning and honing, it's the slightest bit larger than 9/8...the case is HUGE...9" x 3", and the leather pouch may need some conditioner, it's as hard as a rock.

If that was on my breakfast bar today, I'd be shaving with it tonight.

Great snag and a truly great piece of shaving history.

OK Phrank- looks really great - and I LOVE history ... but ... I'll risk you whatever you will think if you answer the question - who is George Brittain?
